Happy Labor Day!
As usual, there's not much news, it's mostly pretty boring stuff. It's been cold the last few days, first indication the season's going to turn soon. It froze last night, and is supposed to again tonight. Mystic's doing fine - he had to have a tumor removed from his left "elbow," but the vet says it hadn't metastasized, and we'll keep an eye on him. He's twelve now, that's 84 in doggy years, so he's getting pretty old. Mystic's one of the best friends I've ever had, of course, I think most people who have a heart and a dog would agree that a good canine companion is priceless. They didn't earn their "man's best friend" sobriquet for nothing, and Mystic's been one of the best dogs, in terms of behavior, smarts and personality, I've ever had the pleasure to know. He's a major blessing in my life and I hope he keeps on truckin' for quite a while yet. And I hope all your friends, human and otherwise, are well and happy.
