Power & Strength
Power is fear unconfined
Strength is love undefined
Power is selfish and uncaring
Strength is selfless and deeply caring
Power dishonors, disrespects and disconnects
Strength honors, respects and connects
Power is controlling
Forcing things to happen
Strength accepts whatever is happening
Allowing things to change spontaneously
through joyful, thoughtful playfulness.
Strength acknowledges and embraces
Its own weakness
And thereby grows stronger
And more enduring.
Power denies and rejects
Its own weakness
And thereby destroys itself
And everything around it.
Strength can act powerfully
But
Power can never be more
Than a poisonous and destructive imitation
Of strength.
Dare to be Powerless
Dare to live quietly in strength.
